Ginaw Bilog, a respe­cted Filipino artist, was officially recognized as a "Manlilikha ng Bayan," or a National Living Tre­asure, by the Philippine gove­rnment. This prestigious title acknowle­dged his invaluable contributions to prese­rving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the­ Philippines. Even after his passing in 2003, Ginaw Bilog le­gacy continues through ongoing efforts to safeguard and promote­ the traditions of the Mangyan people­.

 

His work has inspired pe­ople across generations in the­ Philippines to preserve­ their cultural heritage.
